Gloryhammer is a Fantasy/Epic Power Metal band from Scotland, and Tales From The Kingdom Of Fife is the band’s debut. Fantasy/Epic Metal typically deals with dragons, wizards, and mythical warriors displaying supernatural powers who use weapons often involving some level of magic. If this interests you, then Gloryhammer’s polished delivery makes their debut album a must buy. For all other Metalheadz, the focus on getting in as many words as possible within each song to fully “tell the story” is likely going to cause Tales From The Kingdom Of Fife to sound like any other release produced by this subgenre.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
