Norwegian Hard Rockers SUiCiDE BOMBERS have released their fifth release, All For The Candy on February 2, 2024. All For The Candy is released by the band’s label Suicide Records and is mixed by Trond Holter (Wig Wam) and mastered by Maria Maxwell. This sticky sweet opus promises to be sleazier than ever four years later since the band’s 2019 release, Murder Couture. All For The Candy as the title implies deals with all of the different types of ‘candy’ the band craves…SEX. DRUGS, & ROCK & ROLL!!!!.

SUiCiDE BOMBERS formed in 2008 from Oslo Norway with the current lineup since 2018. The band is led by the “The Sleaze Fuhrer”, Chris Damien Doll, Lead Guitarist “Sex Toy” Stevie Teaze, bassist “Thunder Mechanic” C. Slim, and “The Beat Commando” Lyle Starr on drums. SUiCiDE BOMBERS may have an image reckoning back to the glory days of Glam, but there are seriously good and sleazy playing and singing on this album.

All For The Candy

The album opens with a spoken word track of girls from all over the world speaking the album title in their native tongue. The onslaught follows with the lead single “Dynamite Playboys”, an up-tempo rocker with in your face guitars and attitude with Chris Damien Doll’s distinct gravel throated delivery with the right attitude for high intensity Hard Rock. Stevie Teaze delivers a banging solo with a strong support from the rhythm section of C. Slim and Lyle Starr. C. Slim and Starr lead off the track “Tonight Belongs to Us” with a killer bass lick and pounding drums that give the song an early L.A. Guns vibe as the song talks about a story of true love. “Out of Love” slows the pace to a mid-tempo rocker about a spectator to a heartbreak.

The total runtime of the album is forty six minutes over tracks ten tracks (excluding the intro and outro) averaging three and a half to four minutes a song. SUiCiDE BOMBERS slow up the pace with a near epic track over seven minutes long, “Where Time Always Goes”. This song features Geir Bratland (Dimmu Borgir, Apoptygma Berzerk) on piano and orchestration. The song highlights the ability of Chris to harmonize alongside the keys utilized in the song and Stevie’s guitar fills and solos throughout the song. Chris Doll’s best vocal performance come on the title track “All for the Candy” as the song is a another furious rocker where the vocals on the chorus are fast paced and flow well with music.
