Full Throttle Heavy Metal

Hot on the heels of their highly successful 3rd full length album Conquered Lands, Death Dealer has given us a hot, new 5 song EP titled Fuel Injected Suicide Machine with a Mad Max theme. For those who haven’t yet had the privilege, Death Dealer is an all-star band featuring Ross The Boss (Ex-Manowar, Dictators) and Stu Marshall (Dungeon, Night Legion, Arkenstone) on guitars, Sean Peck (The Three Tremors, Denner/Shermann, Warrior) on vocals, Mike Lepond (Symphony-X, Steel Assassins) on bass, and Steve Bolognese (Ross The Boss, Into Eternity) on the drums.

Lords of the Wasteland

Bassist Mike Lepond tells us why an EP: “We had such a powerful positive reaction from our last record, that we felt we should get something out sooner rather than later. We had so much material written and recorded that were able to get an EP ready that is amazing sounding.” Stu Marshall adds “We stayed extremely busy during all the COVID bullshit and I happy to formally announce not only is the EP here now, and the songs on the EP will NOT appear on any upcoming releases, but the 4th album is completely done and the 5th album is almost finished as well. It was crazy how the lads and I really grinded out what I feel is our finest metal to date during that period. After all we had plenty of time on our hands, so why not make more heavy metal?”

Final Notes

Death Dealer really tears it up on Fuel Injected Suicide Machine, with a blaze of glorious Heavy Metal that flies by, leaving you wanting more. Steel Cartel Records is happily continuing their policy of only streaming a single song, the rest you need to buy just like in the old days, which is the only way that bands get any real compensation for all of their sweat and hard work. The EP comes in a variety of formats, and Steel Cartel is implementing a new concept for their vinyl releases borrowed from the comic-book industry, ‘Variant’ album covers. Fuel Injected Suicide Machine will be the first product to implement this with 5 different album covers. Bottom line, Death Dealer have some great music, and Steel Cartel has some great formats to make it your own. Add this one to your collection, one way or another. You’ll be glad you did.

Bryce is an audio engineer and a graphic designer here at Metal Express Radio. From the day he purchased his first album (Machine Head by Deep Purple), he has had a passion for heavy music, which has influenced his whole life. Bryce is from the great Pacific Northwest in USA, and has played in metal bands like Babylon, Holy Terror, The Wild Dogs, Warhead and Egypt through the 80s. He had his first interview for the Portland, Oregon publication The Rock Rag with guitarist Paul Gilbert in his Racer X days. Then he was honored to get to have drinks, and talk for an hour with the legendary Dan McCafferty of Nazareth for his second interview. In 2013, he spent an amazing hour talking to Andi Deris of Helloween, which was the high point of his heavy metal journalism.   In the year 2001, he formed Man in Black Music Publishing. They released recordings by several local bands, and in the spirit of the old Metal Massacre compilations, he created a 2-album series called The Defenders of Metal. The albums featured classic styled Metal bands from all around the world, with bands from Australia to England, and from Argentina to Russia. Currently, he is the producer/creator/vocalist of the Metal band The Black Tuesdays.
