Stryper are set to release their 13th album, Even the Devil Believes, on September 4, 2020 (read our review HERE). While Stryper is known for their Christian faith, the band goes way beyond any one label that could be cast up them. Stryper found their greatest success in the 80’s, but got lumped into to the Hair Metal genre.

It may be surprising to some that Stryper has released more music after 1990 than they did in prior to it. Metal Express Radio caught up with frontman, guitarist, and main songwriter Michael Sweet. Michael talks about the new album, the message of Stryper, whether the Sweet/Lynch project has another album in them, and why people should buy complete albums and not just the singles.
