Soul Survivor is the second release from Stockholm, Sweden based Melodic Rock Band Adrenaline Rush.  The band features vocalist Tåve Wanning of Eclipse and W.E.T., and is the first to feature new members Sam Soderlindh – lead guitar, vocals, and Joel Fox – bass, vocals.  With Alexander Hagman – guitar, vocals and Marcus Johansson – drums rounding out the current line-up, Soul Survivor takes Adrenaline Rush towards a heavier direction than their previous offering.  Tåve says, “The new tracks really complement the old instead of replacing them; they add a new dimension and gives us a broader spectrum of songs to choose from when playing live.”

This new dimension can be heard from the very first track on Soul Survivor, “Adrenalin”.  The guitar driven anthem, with its soaring vocals and ripping solos, sets the tone for the entire record.  Much more attitude, heavier riffs, and solos aplenty give this record a much beefier and more modern fell than the last, while still paying homage to its musical roots in Melodic Rock.  Sonderlindh’s lead guitar work is a key element to the evolution of Adrenaline Rush’s sound.  Sonically, the record is extremely well done, and the songs are strong.  The guitars will give any fan of Melodic Rock all they are looking for. “Love Like Poison”, “My Life”, and “Crash” give Soul Survivor serious Rock and Roll swagger.  Fans of Melodic Rock should definitely give Soul Survivor a listen.

Red Reign toured with Tesla in 2017, and shared the stage with Dokken, FireHouse, Lita Ford, Kix, Quiet Riot, and others at various dates around the US in 2018. Stevie heard his first KISS record at the age of 6 and was immediately hooked on Rock and Roll guitar. Over the course of years his tastes evolved, graduating from KISS to Ozzy and Van Halen; and then into Hair Metal. Over time, harder and faster music drew him. Bands like Metallica, Pantera, and Anthrax led the way, and Killswitch Engage took him over the top. Stevie has a deep passion for the guitar, not only playing them, but building them as well.
