German Hard Rock and Heavy Metal veterans Sinner are back with a new full-length album of all original material. This is following their 2013 release, Touch Of Sin 2, which was mostly re-recordings of classic tracks. Tequila Suicide finds the band deep into their Rock-n-Roll and Hard Rock roots, as opposed to the more Traditional Metal version of Sinner that we heard back on albums like The Nature Of Evil. This new release is a pretty straight forward Party Rock style album.

Although Tequila Suicide is quite good and rather enjoyable, band leader and vocalist/bassist Mat Sinner is a victim of his own success. As good as this album is, it doesn’t hold up well to his work in his other bands like Primal Fear and Voodoo Circle. Compared to the new releases from those groups, Tequila Suicide sounds like an afterthought.

Highlights include the heavier tracks “Road To Hell” and “Dragons”.
