Dark Avenger is a Brazilian band that’s been given the opportunity to reissue the 2nd part of their Tales Of Avalon series.  Like many Metal bands coming from South America, Dark Avenger plays a form of Power Metal that’s clean, precise, technically proficient, and fronted by a talented vocalist.  Add to that standard recipe Epic Metal qualities and you have Dark Avenger.  Like any Epic story album, at times the lyrics and occasional slow segues trip over themselves, but by and large this is a quality Power Metal album that connoisseurs of precision and art should enjoy.  Check it out!

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
