Striker hails from Edmonton, Canada and has a small handful of CD’s to their credit, with Stand In The Fire being their latest. The band incorporates Hard Rock, Traditional Metal, and Hair Metal in their music, but perhaps can be best penned as a Melodic Metal band … and quite a good one at that. There are 11 tracks on this release, and they all ROCK in their own right. There are plenty of catchy lyrics, tasty riffs, and solid overall Melodic Metal musicianship to sink your teeth into — should be enjoyable to fans of various subgenres of Metal.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
