Zephaniah is an up-and-comer in the Progressive Power/Thrash/Epic Metal arena. Hailing from (of all places) Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA, these “youngsters” show impressive acumen in subgenres that are not heavily supported in their neck of the woods. When you think about it, there can really be somewhat of a fine line between Thrash and Power Metal (especially German-based Power Metal) in the first place, and Zephaniah opts often to stretch those limits in every possible way. The end product is a skillfully done, enjoyable, and impressive sophomore release entitled Reforged, which Power and Thrash Metal enthusiasts should definitely check out.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
