Swedish natives Starblind are unleashing their sophomore release entitled Dying Son. The band proudly stands behind the bands that influenced them, making no apologies for similarities found in their music to the NWOBHM era of the ‘80s. In fact, when listening to Dying Son, you’ll swear you’re listening to previously unreleased demo’s recorded originally by Iron Maiden … with a few Folk Metal flavors included to accentuate. Lack of originality aside, Starblind has created a solid album that Iron Maiden would have indeed been proud to claim … and it’s good to see a band carry their torch into the next decade

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
