Danish Hard Rock veterans Pretty Maids have released Louder Than Ever; a collection of 4 new tracks and 8 re-recorded “favorites” of the past. The issuance of this album is basically the label exploiting their contractual relationship with the band, but if you haven’t had exposure to Pretty Maids, Louder Than Ever is a great way to introduce yourself to one of the true quality Hard Rock acts of the past 3 decades. The 4 new tracks (“Deranged,” “My Soul To Take,” “Nuclear Boomerang,” and “A Heart Without A Home”) show all at once the band’s consistency… and consistent progression.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
