James Christian, the front man from the often overlooked band House Of Lords, has released his 3rd solo record entitled Lay It All On Me. This album showcases the Melodic Rock side of Christian, so if you’re looking for something fast and heavy, Lay It All On Me isn’t going to satisfy those appetites. However, if you enjoy bands like Extreme, Survivor, and Toto, then this release will stand toe-to-toe with their best efforts. Christian’s raspy voice oozes with catchy melodies throughout, and the music (while not complex) provides an uplifting vibe to each track … definitely a Melodic Rock gem.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
