A small step for a band, a giant leap for thrash metal? Schmier and the guys improve a bit from the comeback album “All Hell Breaks Loose”, as this is more back to the roots Destruction. The guitars sound very intense, and the opener “Thrash Till Death” describes the disc in a perfect way. A bit more diversity would be welcome, and though I can listen to a thrash disc and enjoy the whole thing, here I get tired after the first 5-6 songs. Maybe it is that very intense wall of guitars? I don’t know, it might be the vocals. I dig them, but in the long run they get a bit annoying. Overall a recommended thrash metal disc – if you’re in for a real thrash metal treat of today.
