MANOWAR – Battle Hymns

What is there to say about this invincible classic that hasn’t been said over the years? Well, Battle Hymns must belong in every metal head’s collection, as it was (still is?) the heaviest thing put on vinyl, as Brian Slagel once described “Dark Avenger”. This US re-release is digitally remastered from the original tapes, and it comes with a very nice booklet, including pictures never seen before and liner notes by the band and people in the industry. As far as I know, this silver edition is only released in the US so far, so look up www.metalblade.com and try to order your copy from them – before it’s to late… (Later this year, Metal Blade Europe will re-release the classics Into Glory Ride and Hail To England.)
