Celebration Decay (read our review HERE) is the 13th album by Bay Area Power Metal act Vicious Rumors. The album’s release was a bit delayed. Vicious Rumors had initially planned to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Digital Dictator with 20 shows. Those shows turned into 108. Along the way Vicious Rumors picked up a new vocalist and lead guitarist. Geoff Thorpe has been riffing it up with Vicious Rumors for over 40 years now. Metal Express Radio had the chance to speak with the guitarist about what keeps him motivated, how the new album came together, and how for just 15 minutes… Vicious Rumors were bigger than Nirvana.
