Lucky album 7 for Swedish Melodic Metal band DYNAZTY a winner

With their release of their 7th album The Dark Delight, DYNAZTY has taken their place among the great Melodic Metal bands of the genre. Formed in 2008, DYNAZTY is defined by their veteran musicians that also work with bands such as LINDEMANN and PAIN, JOE LYNN TURNER and AMARANTHE. With such a talented line up, it’s no wonder that the new release sounds so tight and well produced.

Huge Vocal Melodies

The album kicks into gear with “Presence of Mind” and captures you with heavy riffs, huge vocals and fat harmony choruses that make the song stick in your head.  The 2nd track “Paradise Of The Architect” picks up the pace with it’s heavy Progressive Metal guitars and tight arrangement. One thing that comes through on all of the songs is the anthem like choruses that draw you in and make it hard not to sing along after only a few listenings.

Pleasant Surprise

One cannot help but be reminded of RAINBOW during the JOE LYNN TURNER era when listening to this album, with the catchy melodies and fluid guitars shining on every track. One pleasant surprise for this listener was being hooked by the beautiful ballad “Hologram”. This song really has what it takes to be a huge hit with it’s amazing melodies and top notch production. It has that quality that make it an instant earworm, dancing in your head long after the song is done playing.

Final Notes

All of the songs on this record are well crafted, well written Melodic Metal that never stops hitting you with it’s strong melodies. The guitar work is top notch on every track, and the wall of sound created by the whole band gives us a finished product that deserves a place in your album collection. If you love Melodic Metal, then do yourself a favor and pick up this album.
