Burnt Out Wreck is the brainchild of Gary Moat who once toured with many greats—including Ozzy Osbourne and Whitesnake—while drumming for Heavy Pettin’. Now behind a mic, he has recruited a few other musicians to form this fine Classic Hard-Rock ensemble.

An album of tone, Swallow packs a punch with songs that are saturated with tube-driven power chords reminiscent of AC/DC and W.A.S.P. This record sounds like a blend of those two bands with Moat’s Bon Scott-like vocals complimenting the former, and lewd lyrics nodding to the latter (think about the album title itself). Swallow seems as if it was written for pub regulars and belongs on any jukebox. Pair it with shots of whiskey, and someone is bound to climb on the bar and dance.

Jude was a reviewer here at Metal Express Radio, living in Taiwan but originally from the great state of Ohio, USA. He first got into music when a fellow weirdo in his catholic high school needed someone to play guitar with. They jammed on some Grunge Rock, but soon he got hooked on the blisteringly-fast shredding of Randy Rhoads and other greats. Later, he bought Metallica's Ride The Lightning as his first album purchase. During that time, his friends and him would end up at local Metal shows. He played in some bands himself as well.
