Former Accept guitarist Herman Frank continues to defend Germany’s Power Metal legacy with his 3rd solo release,  The Devil Rides Out. Fans of Primal Fear, Accept, Grave Digger, Tankard, Gamma Ray and the like will love Frank’s straight forward, no-nonsense, ultimate headbanging approach to songwriting. With the band rounded out by Masterplan vocalist Rick Altzi, Rage drummer Andre Hilgers and Jaded Heart bassist Michael Muller, Herman Frank as a band is tight, powerful and polished.

While the album takes few artistic risks and may not do anything to bring in new audiences, The Devil Rides Out will delight fans of the genre. This is the 3rd release under the Herman Frank banner and this seems to be the first solid, well established lineup, which should allow the band to tour in support of the new release, something fans have been asking for since the first album.

Highlights include “Running Back”, “Stone Cold”, “Thunder of Madness” and “I Want It All”.
