Destiny hails from Sweden, and has been relatively inactive for the past decade. Climate Change represents their “comeback” / “anniversary” album, and contains 14 tracks of previously unreleased material. However, a number of these songs were written years ago and put on ice … just now seeing the positive effects of global warming. Destiny plays a mix of Power, Traditional, and Melodic Metal, and Climate Change rolls through all of those subgenres pretty effectively, making for an album a wide swath of fans will likely enjoy to varying degrees. There’s nothing “new” or particularly original to be found here, yet all of the songs are solid enough to stand proudly on their own.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
