Shadow Witch is a newcomer to the worldwide Metal community and Sun Killer is their debut release. Originating from New York, USA, Shadow Witch plays a toned-down, Grungy form of Doom Metal. The band’s music is indeed deep, ominous, and dark (sun-less, if you will), but front man Earl Lundy at the mic comes through “cleaner” than you might expect … somewhat going against the man-witch (warlock?) persona exemplified by heavyweights in the Doom Metal arena such as Type O Negative and Candlemass. Psychedelic effects are often thrown in the mix for good measure, making Sun Killer an eclectic Doom experience.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
