This is so typically European Metal that it is difficult to praise it. On the other hand, Sinbreed does the job so very well that it is even more difficult not to like it. With a high average tempo the band that includes Blind Guardian drummer Frederik Ehmke just follows old German and northern European metal traditions so skillfully that the target group may rejoice.

Singer Herbie Langhans has just enough roughness not to make the memorable melodies too mellow, guitar player Flo Laurin delivers the goods with speedy riffing and skilled solos. Their third album entitled Master Creator may not live up to its name, as it is not overly original, but it is a master follower of German Eurometal classics, somewhere between Helloween and Accept.

Frank got hooked on Metal at the age of 14 when a friend introduced him to AC/DC and that was in 1981. Since then he listens to a variety of musical styles, including Prog and Songwriter-stuff, but mainly Metal of almost all types with one exception: He does not understand and has no clue about Black Metal. So dragons are fine, all kinds of monsters are, cats, too, of course, just no Pandas. Sorry.
