Eldritch is a 6-piece outfit from Italy that is celebrating 20 years since the release of their debut back in 1995. Their (now) 10th studio album is entitled Underlying Issues, and is comprised of 11 tracks totaling 56 minutes of quality Progressive Metal. Eldritch has had line-up changes over the years and has adapted (or adopted) to the times at various junctures, but where they are right now centers on the semi-rough/semi-aggressive side of Progressive Metal, not too dissimilar from say Symphony X or Edguy. Overall, this album is an easy listen and there’s plenty to like in Underlying Issues.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
