Shadowkiller hails from Northern California, USA, and Until The War Is Won is their 2nd release. Shadowkiller is an Epic Power Metal band, but very different than the norm (for most bands that normally means copying in some way off Blind Guardian).

Instead, Shadowkiller plays a rough and brash form of Power Metal with lyrics that focus on the battle and the conquer (nothing atypical there). Until The War Is Won has an unpolished production sound – poor, if you will – but ironically this rough throughput works well and adds to its authenticity and “passion.” An album worth checking out …

    Dan is a former partner at Metal Express Radio, and also served as a reviewer, photographer and interviewer on occasions. Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album.
