Sacrilege is a veteran Traditional/Doom Metal band from the U.K. with roots back into the early 1980’s, but they never landed a “true” record deal until now, making six6six their official “debut” record.  The band plays a predominantly slow-paced brand of Metal that qualifies as a far-out form of Doom Metal, with song topics focusing on the power of evil, Satan and (of course) impending bad endings.  The song structures are rudimentary – however, there are occasional decent solos strewn amongst six6six’s  11 tracks.  You’ll hear a lot of early Venom in Sacrilege … but that’s not something to brag about.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
