The Gallagher brothers along with Joe Hasselvander are at it again as Raven is set to release ExtermiNation.   Raven is one of those NWOBHM bands that probably should’ve enjoyed more success in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but perhaps by deciding to stay very “true to form” and in-line with their personal Metal tastes, the band remained under the radar screen compared to many of their British counterparts.  That aside, Raven has put together a gem of an album in ExtermiNation.  It’s heavy, it’s raw, and it sounds like they had a blast writing and recording this album.  Highly recommended …

He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
