Revolution Saints is the latest supergroup to join the Frontiers Records family.  Comprised of Jack Blades on bass (Nightranger), Deen Castronovo on drums and vocals (Journey), and Doug Aldrich on guitar (Whitesnake), all of these heavyweights have had an immense amount of success in early career stages.  Apparently the thought was grouping them together would create its own form of magic.  You’ll find no “bad” songs on this self-titled debut… Castronovo has a great Melodic Rock voice, and Aldrich rips out occasional impressive solos, but unfortunately this album is very vanilla and presents nothing that’ll get you particularly excited.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
