Triosphere is a female-fronted 4-piece band out of Norway, and The Heart Of The Matter is their 3rd release. Triosphere plays a blend of Melodic Metal with Progressive and Power Metal elements. This album, however, is one of those “oddities” where everything individually passes the sniff test, but when all mashed together, there’s something missing that is needed to elevate this good album into greatness … as such, Triosphere’s new release comes across on the high side of “average.”
