Onslaught is a British Thrash band originally formed in the 1980s. Back in that “golden age” of Thrash, Onslaught had difficulties competing with the USA-Trash scene, and basically flew way under radar screens. After disbanding in the ‘90s, Onslaught resurrected in 2004, and have enjoyed success via release of new material – the latest being their 6th album entitled VI. If you enjoy Old School Thrash (meaning crunching guitars, upbeat tempos, and angry – but melodic – lyrics), you’ll find that the name “Onslaught” is a befitting moniker for the band, and VI is 39 minutes of Thrash heaven worthy of your attention.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
