Death SS is a Horror/Occult Metal band from Italy whose roots go all the way back to the late ’70s, and Resurrection is their latest release. Death SS’ musical backdrop is rooted in Industrial Metal, which is both hit and miss on various tracks, but much less polished than say Marilyn Manson or Rammstein. If you’re not a fan of the topical and lyrical content associated with Horror/Occult Metal, then chances are you’ll be better off staying away from this release. However, if these subgenres of Metal interest you, then Resurrection will more than likely offer you plenty to enjoy.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
