Skid Row are at it again with the release of an EP entitled United World Rebellion – Chapter One. The recent push in the music industry is for bands to issue EPs instead of LPs, presumably to allow bands to release something yearly instead of every 2 – 3 years; thereby staying on fans’ radar screens. This Skid Row EP contains 1 ballad and 4 rockers whereby Johnny Solinger as front man leads the way into an all out Metal assault. Long gone are the Glam Metal days for Skid Row… welcome in New Jersey-based Metal with plenty of attitude!

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
