Welcome back! It’s about time that we heard some guitar and gruff vocals from one of the true stars of rock’n roll, Mr. Motorcity Madhouse himself, Ted Nugent! This CD was recorded on new years eve, 2000, and those in attendance can count themselves lucky, and smile knowingly: I was there! The rest of the world will have to cherish this album, and that’s an easy task.

Brimfull with adrenaline-drenched versions of songs like: Paralyzed, Free for all, Hey Baby, Cat scratch fever, Stranglehold, Great White Buffalo etc etc, this is one of the essential purchases for the summer. Drums and bass are supplied by Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza, and they complement Nugent’s guitar and vocals in a raw and driving way. Cooking!

The only drawback is that is a single CD, and not a double. Yes, it is THAT good. The good news is that Ted has a brand new studio album already in the can, with only new songs. The wait for that album will be easier with this live-recording! Do yourself a favor and get some Motor City Rock’n roll, now!

Highlights: Ouch! It hurts to select out special tracks. With so many beauties, I really can’t choose. Sorry.
