( votes)From the remains of Painted Sick Illusion, Rooster from Jevnaker, Norway arises. The band grooves like hell, without parallels to Pantera. Rooster is modern and traditional hard rock at the same time, and I have problems to put them into one specific genre, like writers do when they don’t care to analyze thoroughly. Of the 14 songs, more than half of them are very good, while there are a few fillers amongst the rest. I have to emphasize Rune Uglebakken’s amazing vocal abilities. I can’t think of any singer in Norway better than him, for this “genre” that is… Don’t miss this!
