Jaime Poulos of Metal Express Radio sat down with the members of Dead Groove Band, including drummer Fred Aching (Bulletboys, Kings of Thrash, Breaking In A Sequence), vocalist and bassist Holly West (Zepparella), and guest guitarist Jeff Young (ex-Megadeth, Kings of Thrash, Badi Assad). The permanent guitarist for Dead Groove Band is Cesar Salaverry, who is currently in Peru working on his United States Visa.

Dead Groove Band is a Rock band that has been referred to as having a mix of genres. Each member not only brings in a lifetime of skill, but a mixture of culture, that makes for an entertaining experience.

Jeff and Fred talk about their highly successful shows for Kings of Thrash in Australia. Jeff talks about how exciting it was to collaborate with Dave Ellefson (ex-Megadeth) to produce new music. Dave Ellefson performed with Dead Groove Band in Phoenix, AZ. Holly discusses her upcoming tour with Zepparella.

Jaime is an interviewer here at Metal Express Radio. She grew up listening to music of all kinds. When she was in high school, she danced to DEVO, Thompson Twins, U2, Madonna, and Oingo Boingo. She went to the University of Utah for Accounting. Afterwards, she moved to Sioux City, IA and her musical interests turned to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Cray, Jonny Lang, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
