In their bio it reads, “Ministry has been the lifetime passion project of founder Al Jourgensen”. Appearing at The Union Event Center on April 21st 2023 in Salt Lake City, it was evident the passion has never faded.

This show was nothing less than explosive! Opening the night with songs “Alert Level,” “Good Trouble,” “Disinformation,” and “Search and Destroy,” you could feel the driving energy not only from the stage, but from the crowd in attendance that night.

Continuing to build on that energy, the set continued with “Believe Me,” “Broken System,” and being played for only the second time live “Goddamn White Trash,” which will appear on the band’s upcoming album Hopium for the Masses LP is due this summer.

“NWO,” “Just one Fix,” “Burning Inside,” “Stigmata,” and “Thieves” followed. Ministry knew the venue was at its boiling point and was ready to take it that one last step. And that they did, with “The Missing,” “Deity,” “So What,” and “Ricky’s Hand.” The latter is a Fad Gadget cover, which was played for the first time live since 1986.
