This Friday’s Guest DJ: DAN LORENZO

Dan Lorenzo

This Friday former Hades and current Patriarchs In Black guitarist Dan Lorenzo will take over the DJ chair at Metal Express Radio.  Patriarchs In Black released their debut album Reach For the Scars earlier this year. The band is a supergroup featuring Johnny Kelly from (Type O Negative/Danzig/Quiet Riot) on drums and Dan Lorenzo (Hades/Non-Fiction/Vessel Of Light) guitars/riffs! Ten of their friends sang or played bass on this release including Karl Agell (COC Blind/Lie Heavy), Dewey Bragg (Kill Devil Hill), and Jimmy Gnecco (Ours)!

On the Guest DJ Show Lorenzo will play ten of his favorite tracks. After his playlist, we’ll play a handful of tracks from his different bands and projects like Patriarchs in Black, Vessel of Light and Cassius King.

The Friday Guest DJ Hour Show airs at the following times:

Stig is the founder and the president of Metal Express Radio, based out of Oslo, Norway. He has been around doing Metal radio since the mid-eighties. In fact, running Metal Express Radio takes almost all of his time. Is it worth it...? "Most times, yes," Stig says. Still, I know we have the best METAL dedicated radio on this planet, and that is a reward in and of itself. I hope one day the whole Metal community can and will make listening to Metal Express Radio part of their daily rituals! Yeah, right..."
