TIM “RIPPER” OWENS (THE THREE TREMORS): “There Is No Streaming Available… You Can Only Buy The Hard Copies”

The Three Tremors

To The Power of Three

The Three Tremors burst onto the Heavy Metal scene in 2019 with their self-titled debut. The trio is comprised of Tim Owens (KK’s Preist, Ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, Ex- Judas Priest), Sean Peck (Cage, Death Dealer), and Harry Conklin (Jag Panzer). While these vocal heavyweights traded lines on their debut album, fans wanted more. Later that same year, The Three Tremors released The Solo Versions; a three disc set where each member sang the album in its entirety. 2021 marks the return of The Three Tremors with the release of their follow-up Guardians of the Void. I had the chance to speak with Tim “Ripper” Owens shortly after the album’s release.

Highlights include

  • Discussion of their latest album Guardians of the Void
  • How arrangements are worked out with three singers
  • The unique merchandise and marketing behind the new album
  • The origins of the band name
  • Returning to live shows
  • His involvement with KK’s Priest
  • Will a Dio Disciples album be forthcoming
  • Ripper’s other projects including A New Revenge, Pyramid, etc.
  • Will Charred Walls of the Damned release new material
  • … and much, much more!
