Melodic Heavy Rock

Human is the debut album for singer David Readman (Pink Cream 69) fronting Natural Born Machine, a new international Melodic Heavy Rock band. Natural Born Machine is the brainchild conceived in 2019 by bassist/composer Alberto Rigoni (Bad As, Vivaldi Metal Project).  The band features the talents of guitarist Alessio “Lex” Tricarico (Bad As) and drummer Denis “Denzy” Novello (Ardityon) in the lineup.

Straight Forward

Natural Born Machine offers us a refined version of bluesy Metal that relies on strong melodies, powerful choruses and slick guitar work to fill in the blanks. The album was recorded and mixed at AR Studio in Treviso, Italy and aptly mixed and mastered by bassist and creator Alberto Rigoni, whose musical vision has come to life in Human. David Readman’s vocals are clear and clean, and the songs are straight to the point in a Pop Rock format that has a Heavy Metal flavor and spice.

Favorite Tracks

“Moonchild” has a very cool feel that reminds of early Whitesnake, as the vocals and guitar leads are well written and performed over catchy riffs. Another song that takes us back in time is the up tempo “Machine” that has some nice dynamics as it goes from heavy riffing to more subtle parts that show off David Readman’s talents. “Won’t Be friends” takes it up a notch in tempo and power, with cool bluesy overtones interspersed with snappy choruses.

Final Notes

When it comes right down to it, the album does not contain any groundbreaking material, but it doesn’t have to with it’s nice familiar feel and slick mix of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. Natural Born Machine have given us a good album with Human. The recordings are solid, David Readman’s vocals are great on every track as the band steps up and delivers. Fans of Pink Cream 69, Whitesnake and other Melodic Heavy Rock bands will enjoy Natural Born Machine’s debut album Human.
