Evanescence exploded back in the scene with an incredible performance from Rock Falcon Studio. Supporting The Bitter Truth, band members Amy Lee, Jen Majura, Tim McCord, Troy McLawhorn and Will Hunt gave an exceptional performance of the band’s first full album of new material in nearly 10 years. As the show began, you were immediately captured by the power and emotion in Amy Lee’s voice. Opening with the track Wasted on You”, (which is my favorite from the new album) it was evident that this album in my opinion would rival if not eclipse any of their previous work.

The show continued with more music from their new album which included the live debut of “The Game is Over” and “Use My Voice”, as well as a rock solid performance of “The Only One”, from their 2006 album The Open Door, which they have not performed since 2011.

Other highlights of the evening included “Bring Me to Life”, “Lost in Paradise” and a brilliant cover of Portishead’s “Glory Box” to end the night’s festivities. The music, band and lets not forget the incredible sound by Falcon studios made this a stellar performance and introduction to their new album The Bitter Truth.
