The Black Hounds may just be Wolverhampton, England’s best kept secret. Since 2013 the band has released two EPs and shuffled a couple of band members in and out. This year sees the release of The Black Hounds debut full length album Colossus [Read our review HERE]. The Black Country four piece doesn’t define their “sound” in words. You just have to hear it for yourself. I hear a little bit of Pantera, Black Label Society, and a hint of Opeth. You may hear something completely different. The Black Hounds vocalist/rhythm guitarist Ant and drummer Joe break down the album Colossus from top to bottom with Metal Express Radio.
