Demetrio Scopelliti, a.k.a. Dimitry, was born in Italy in 1980. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. In 1997 he joined Arcadia, still being his actual main project, recording and touring with the band.
In 2000 he decided to attend the famous European Music Institute CPM in Milan. Then he started studying different music styles: jazz, fusion, blues, funky, practicing something like 8-10 hours a day. Playing and recording in Europe and the USA Dimitry released his first album Evolution in 2008.
Since September 2008 Dimitry has been teaching electric and acoustic guitar in Skien (Norway) and gives “intensive rock guitar lessons” when he is not on tour.
The second album, Codex Magika was released in 2012. Third solo album The Art Of Complications was released in 2016. And the latest 2018 record is called The Silent Watcher.
