Flashback Interview: RAWHEAD REXX

Rawhead Rexx

Do you remember Rawhead Rexx? A German power metal band fronted by vocalist/guitarist Juergen Volk (ex-Glenmore) that released two albums only before the band disbanded: Rawhead Rexx (2001) and Diary in Black (2003). The albums have all the elements for a great heavy metal album; great big fat riffs, killer fast and melodic lead guitar, pounding double bass drumming, a killer bottom end and a great vocalist. If you’re not familiar with the albums, here is a good tip: check them out!

  • Stig G. Nordahl

Stig is the founder and the president of Metal Express Radio, based out of Oslo, Norway. He has been around doing Metal radio since the mid-eighties. Still, I know we have the best METAL dedicated radio on this planet, and that is a reward in and of itself. I hope one day the whole Metal community can and will make listening to Metal Express Radio part of their daily rituals! Yeah, right..."
