Psychotic Symphony is the debut record from American Rock Band and supergroup Sons Of Apollo.  Mike Portnoy has been involved with a wide and variegated series of bands, from Dream Theater to Avenged Sevenfold to Adrenaline Mob, and most recently, The Winery Dogs, among others.  Sons Of Apollo finds Portnoy working with legendary bassist Billy Sheehan (Talas, Steve Vai Band, David Lee Roth Band, Mr. Big, Winery Dogs), Guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Bumblefoot, Guns N’ Roses, Art Of Anarchy), vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (TransSiberian Orchestra, Journey, Yngwie Malmsteen) and fromer Dream Theater keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater, Black Country Communion, Yngwie Malmsteen, Alice Cooper, KISS).

Sons Of Apollo quite possibly represents the most impressive line up of rock musicians to work together in a decade or more, and they live up to the hype.  The progressive elements you would expect to hear from Dream Theater alums is present, but presented in a quintessential rock context.  The record showcases the abundant chops of all the players without losing listenability.  Well written songs, excellent production, and excellent performances make Psychotic Symphony a must listen.  Modern rock edge, classic rock flavor, progressive elements and stellar performances by some of the biggest names in the rock world will satisfy fans of every artist’s individual efforts, and fans of Modern Rock, Classic Rock, and Progressive Rock will enjoy Psychotic Symphony.

Red Reign toured with Tesla in 2017, and shared the stage with Dokken, FireHouse, Lita Ford, Kix, Quiet Riot, and others at various dates around the US in 2018. Stevie heard his first KISS record at the age of 6 and was immediately hooked on Rock and Roll guitar. Over the course of years his tastes evolved, graduating from KISS to Ozzy and Van Halen; and then into Hair Metal. Over time, harder and faster music drew him. Bands like Metallica, Pantera, and Anthrax led the way, and Killswitch Engage took him over the top. Stevie has a deep passion for the guitar, not only playing them, but building them as well.
