Through Worlds Of Stardust is the brand new release from Norwalk, Connecticut based American Hard Rock band Steelheart.  Best known for their 1991 self titled debut album Steelheart, which contained “I’ll Never Let You Go” and “Everybody Loves Eileen”, which were both radio hits, powered by lead vocalist Miljenko Matijevic’s multi octave range. The band was one of the last of the hair metal bands to break onto the scene before the Seattle invasion changed the face of the American music scene, and after an accident on stage injured Matijevic in 1992, the band dropped from sight. They have resurfaced periodically with various line ups, but Through Worlds Of Stardust represents a reinvention of the band.

Matijevic returns as the voice of Steelheart, but brings with him an entire new lineup of musicians that have crafted a more modern sounding record.  There are, of course, many of the elements of the Hair Metal era represented on the record, but the modern edge is prevalent throughout.  The first single, “You Got Me Twisted”, would be welcomed on any modern rock music outlet, and possibly wouldn’t even stand out as band from the golden age.  The entire record is certainly worth a listen.  Steelheart fans won’t be disappointed, Hair Metal fans and Modern Rock fans as well should give a listen.

Red Reign toured with Tesla in 2017, and shared the stage with Dokken, FireHouse, Lita Ford, Kix, Quiet Riot, and others at various dates around the US in 2018. Stevie heard his first KISS record at the age of 6 and was immediately hooked on Rock and Roll guitar. Over the course of years his tastes evolved, graduating from KISS to Ozzy and Van Halen; and then into Hair Metal. Over time, harder and faster music drew him. Bands like Metallica, Pantera, and Anthrax led the way, and Killswitch Engage took him over the top. Stevie has a deep passion for the guitar, not only playing them, but building them as well.
