Noise Pollution is a relatively new band from Italy with an experienced attitude. They have spent a lot of time on tour, supporting first-rate acts such as Black Label Society and Skid Row. Their Alternative Metal sound is modern and enjoyable: rough enough for aggression, but tastefully honed—like a young tycoon’s facial hair.

Noise Pollution’s new LP Unreal is loaded with ten well-produced tracks. One entitled “MAD” has been released as a single. It is heavy and catchy—a good example of the rest of the album. Amedeo ‘Ame’ Mongiorgi’s vocals are very chorus-driven and do well to carry each song. The final track surprises as the lone and remarkable ballad. It’s uncertain whether it was tacked on at the end to somehow subdue its anomaly, but it actually would have been nice if the band had thrown another ballad or two in the middle for some overall dynamics.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
