Celebrating 30 years since their monumental Mechanical Resonance album hit the streets, Tesla is re-releasing the tracks as a live album.  In addition to the live recordings, Tesla is also treating fans to a new studio track entitled “Save That Goodness”, written by band friend Phil Collen of Def Leppard.  The live versions, of course, offer a different perspective for these “classic” tracks … whether or not they’re more enjoyable — or even as enjoyable — as the original studio versions is debatable.  If anything, the production quality seems slightly below today’s standards for a live album, but nonetheless Mechanical Resonance Live is a “must have” for Tesla fans to add to their collection.
