Phantom 5 is a special Frontiers Records project comprised of notable German Rockers, headed up by guitarist Michael Voss and vocalist Claus Lessmann, both of whom have spent time with the gritty Melodic Hard Rock band Bonfire. Frontiers is infamous for finding a way to pair up quality musicians to make one-off special project albums under “new” band names – sometimes the concept works well (e.g., Michael Sweet and George Lynch worked magnificently), but more often than not, these blind dates produce bland music with little staying power or relevance.  Unfortunately, this Phantom 5 records falls squarely into the latter category.

Songs from this new release will be featured at 6:00/18:00 CET & Midnight/Noon EST on the day indicated. All featured DAILY ALBUM PREMIERES will have a short review posted the day it’s on the show!

The FRIDAY edition of the Daily Album Premiere show contains 3 tracks from each of the Daily Premiere Albums featured during the week. Be sure to tune in here!

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
