MOB RULES – Tales From Beyond

Germany’s Mob Rules is celebrating their 20^th anniversary as a band, and what better way to commemorate this accomplishment than by issuing their 8^th studio album, entitled Tales From Beyond.  If you’re not familiar with the band, they play a brand of Metal that teeters between Melodic and Traditional, with Progressive and Power elements blended in for good measure. Topically and lyrically, Mob Rules leans towards the complex, but never loses their grip on melody. Musically, Tales From Beyond meshes catchiness with power and punch quite well … it’s a commendable effort from start to finish, and worth checking out.
