Germany’s Mob Rules is celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band, and what better way to commemorate this accomplishment than by issuing their 8th studio album, entitled Tales From Beyond.  If you’re not familiar with the band, they play a brand of Metal that teeters between Melodic and Traditional, with Progressive and Power elements blended in for good measure. Topically and lyrically, Mob Rules leans towards the complex, but never loses their grip on melody. Musically, Tales From Beyond meshes catchiness with power and punch quite well … it’s a commendable effort from start to finish, and worth checking out.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
