The latest release by Hardcore heavyweights Lamb Of God is entitled VII: Sturm Und Drang — German for “turbulent emotion or stress” — a well-suited title for a Lamb Of God album. This band has never forgotten their roots and has always demonstrated an unbelievable work-ethic, along with some deep chips on their collective shoulders that have masterfully come through in their music.

Basically, Lamb Of God continues to set the gold standard for Intensive Thrash/Death Metal/Hardcore, and fans of the band won’t be disappointed with this new release. There’s great drumming, guitar work, and, of course, Randy Blythe’s pipes.

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
