Free From Sin is a collaboration between vocalist Per Englund and guitarist Patrik Lamborg from Sweden, both of which have had experience with various bands dating back to the ‘80s.

Their debut self-titled album is a long time coming, and is filled with quality Hard Rock and Melodic Metal. There are numerous influences that can be heard within Free From Sin.

They start with a solid, crisp, “fresh” sounding platform, and then add in occasional keys reminiscent of ‘70s-era Deep Purple, contrasted by Englund ripping out numerous higher-octave screams, amid periodic tasteful, Malmsteen-ish guitar-based musical interludes.

A solid, diversified effort.

He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
