With the wind-down of Talisman and a short-lived courtship with Journey, renowned Melodic Rock/Hard Rock vocalist Jeff Scott Soto has released Inside The Vertigo under the moniker SOTO. He’s assembled some impressive talent to support this latest effort, and indications are that a whale of an album should be the result. He’s assembled some impressive talent to support this latest effort, and indications are that a whale of an album should be the result. By and large, if you are a fan of Soto, you’re bound to enjoy this album. However, though some tracks contain some decent riffs and lead breaks, an “edge” is missing in most tracks, and Soto simply includes too many lyrical lines, which shifts focus away from the musicianship.

Songs from THE DAILY ALBUM PREMIERE will be featured at 6:00/18:00 CET (Noon/Midnight EST)

Based out of Indianapolis, USA he was first turned on to Hard Rock music in the mid-1970s when he purchased Deep Purple's Machine Head as his first album. He was immediately enthralled with the powerful guitar sound and pronounced drumbeat, and had to get more! His collection quickly expanded to include as many of Heavy Rock bands of the time that he could get his hands on, such as Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath, to name just a few.
